To start off and make it as painfree as possible its me, the website editor - Andrew Simister.   Histoy at the club: I joined the club at age 11 and played all my junior tennis at the club. This included being part of an all conquering Junior team that won the league 3 years on the trot and didnt lose a rubber for a whole season. I then left at age 20 to play at various clubs and rejoined 5 years ago.    Interesting Facts: I am a qualified coach, line judge and stringer and have officiated at ATP tournaments and strung at Wimbledon. I am an IT Test Manager by day and work for the company that supplies IT for the Olympic Games. Worst Moment on court: I was once line judging for a young Goran Ivanisevic and made a dodgy call against him. I was then verbally abused for about 5 minutes in Croatian had a racket thrown in my general direction before I was replaced for my own safety!!!    Favorite Player: In my early years I was a Bjorn Borg man but as I moved deeper into my teenage years and more into tennis I always rooted for Mcenroe, if only I had 5% of his ability.       Sponsorship Partners              01253 723966          This could be you, contact the club for details   Insurance Brokers     Joke of the Month     1.
